Meet Xavier
Xavier is the first love interest the MC encounters, stumbling upon him napping in an abandoned warehouse while she is out on a mission. Initially believing he is injured, she even calls for backup. However, after they team up to defeat a wanderer, she quickly realizes just how incredibly skilled he is— A fact solidified by his status as the Hunters Association’s top hunter.
Though Xavier is soft-spoken and charming, he is fiercely protective of the MC, who is frequently paired with him for missions. Mysterious and elusive, he clearly guards secrets of his own. The MC notes that Xavier possesses an incredible depth of knowledge that he keeps to himself, seemingly waiting for her to be on the same wavelength before he shares more.
Despite being a hunter, Xavier has a strange lack of understanding when it comes to the Hunters Association’s rules and protocols. His gaps in knowledge constantly leave the MC wondering: Who is Xavier, really?

The Mysterious Lumiere
Lumiere is a legendary vigilante known as a rogue agent who hunts underground criminals and destroys illegally modified protocores in the N109 Zone. First appearing during the 2034 Chronorift Catastrophe, he became the first documented person to ever eliminate a Wanderer when he rescued MC as a child.
Unknown to all, Lumiere is actually Xavier’s alter ego. Although the MC strongly suspects that Xavier matches Lumiere’s profile, her theories are constantly derailed by the widespread belief that the vigilante must be at least forty years old. Adding a layer of irony, Xavier grows deeply jealous of Lumiere whenever the MC speaks highly of his own alter ego.
It appears that Xavier lives a double life— One where he deeply yearns for normalcy, while begrudgingly walking the path dictated by his past.
